Holding crosses are made from many different materials but ours is of solid poured brass and then treated with a unique patina acid to duplicate the color of our original cross; few are as impressive as the Saint Miriam Holding Cross™. The original hand carved mold is shown along with the pouringmold to show the care that goes into each cross. Each is a miniature replica of our patented-processional cross and they are blessed from the oil from the fruit of the Olive Tree, which has been used for religious rites since biblical times. In time your Saint Miriam Holding Cross™ will develop its own patina from frequent handling. No two crosses will ever look the same due to the variations in the grain on the brass used in its forging; each is unique…just like you! We pray that it brings you hours of peace with God.
