This new worship experience is offered every Sunday at 9:00 AM beginning September 18th 2011. SimpleMass is a worship service that has a reading and psalm, and then a simple homily reflection after the Gospel reading. The emphasis will be on a liturgical experience that is contemplative, fulfilling, and that will still have you on your way within a nominal amount of time! SimpleMass will be a spare, simple, yet beautifully orthodox celebration of the Holy Eucharist; and blessings will be offered for those too young to receive Holy Communion or for visitors or family members who, for any reason, may be uncomfortable receiving Communion at Saint Miriam.

Also, at this Mass only, we offer our fresh home baked Altar Bread based on an old recipe from the Trappist Monastery in West Park, New York.

Our new SimpleMass aims to be simple and straightforward without "dumbing down" worship. This is a great opportunity for newcomers to become more acquainted with Saint Miriam and the beauty and history of the Old Catholic Church.
