How We Achieve Spiritual Healing

Our community gets its life from those who come and participate! On these pages you will find links to important life events and a monthly calendar to help you participate fully in the life of Saint Miriam.

Please enjoy some of the wonderful ways we all strive to become closer to God as His friends.

Come as you are…we are waiting and so is God!

The Women of Saint Miriam

The women’s group meets every 2nd Tuesday in Ray Leight Room at Saint Miriam. The Women of Saint Miriam become members simply by virtue of you being female and a member of the parish. Newcomers and friends from outside the community are also welcomed to join in. They perform civic and service work and enjoy great fellowship and support! Jean Sulima and Susan Slagle have coordinated this group so please email for more information to .

Kaleo

Our newest addition to Saint Miriam Parish activities is the formation of a spiritual group to be known as Kaleo which means ―"to call". We are calling all those who have an interest in developing their spiritual life. Spiritual development is not necessarily connected with a religion because it is not based on your religious preference but rather on the openness of your heart and your desire to unfold this calling. It is a journey of self discovery of learning not only who you are, but who you want to be. The challenge of such a group can include questioning current beliefs or trying to better understand others' beliefs. Spirituality does not try to say this is right and this is wrong. It's purpose and direction doesn't necessarily solve or reach conclusions but rather moves us for-ward in the direction of meaning and purpose for our life. This group is not to teach you spirituality but rather it is to be part of a group who will discover spirituality and its place in our lives. Pat and Dorothy want to do this with you. This group meets on the third Saturday of the month from 1:00 pm. Please bring a pen and journal (copybook). Email Pat, or Dorothy to register or for more information.

Open House

Would you like to know more about us, or simply want to see what our church is like, or just pick up a brochure? Perhaps a simple time of prayer?

Maybe you would like to meet a member of our parish team? And, just maybe, you need to do this without the obligation of coming to one of our services first? If so, our daily Open House hours may be just what you are looking for!

Our Open House Hours Are Daily Office Hours: Closed Mondays and Wednesdays, Tues 11AM-2:30 PM; Thurs. 4:30 - 8:00 PM; Fri: 11AM—2PM; Th 4PM—7PM. On Saturdays from 11AM—2PM you will find a Parish Volunteer here to show you around and answer any questions you may have. We are here other times as well, and always place an Open House sign by the entry so you know someone is home!

Come and see if Saint Miriam is what you are looking for!

Can't get here during those hours? Call or E-Mail us at for a special time we will arrange at your request for you to get aquainted with Saint Miriam. Please view our Parish Calendar for other hours and events as well.
